Frequently Asked Questions
What does the Dermalyt Pro LED Face Mask do?
The Dermalyt LED Face Mask uses red, blue, and infrared light to support skin rejuvenation, reduce fine lines, calm inflammation, and improve skin clarity. It's a hands-free treatment designed to mimic in-clinic results from the comfort of home.
How does LED Light Therapy work for skin concerns?
Each wavelength of light works with your skin at different levels. Think of it like a reset button: red light helps boost collagen, blue light calms and clears, and infrared light works deeper to strengthen and heal. No harsh ingredients, just light working with your skin, not against it.
What skin concerns can Dermalyt treat?
So many! From fine lines and breakouts to redness, pigmentation, and dullness - this is your all-in-one skin support. Plus, both the Face Mask and the Neck & Décolletage Mask can be laid anywhere, to help ease tension, calm cramps, and even help with muscle fatigue.
Are the Dermalyt LED Masks safe to use at home?
Yes, absolutely. The masks are designed with comfort and safety in mind. They’re made from soft medical-grade silicone and are CE, ROHS, FCC and FDA certified. Safe, effective, and easy to use for all skin types.
What makes Dermalyt different from other LED masks?
We don’t just stack LEDs for the sake of it, we focus on quality, not quantity. Dermalyt uses true 660nm red and 850nm infrared wavelengths for real results. Plus, the design is lightweight, flexible, and was created by a skin therapist who knows what works.
How often should I use my Dermalyt LED Mask?
For best results, aim for 3 to 5 sessions a week. Each session can be 10 to 20 minutes, perfect for your morning routine or evening wind-down.
Can I use the LED mask with other skincare products?
Yes! Cleanse your skin first, then pop your mask on. After your session, your skin is more receptive to active ingredients, so it’s a great time to apply your favourite serums or moisturiser.
Does the number of LEDs matter in an LED mask?
Not as much as you’d think. What really matters is the quality of the LEDs and the wavelengths used. Dermalyt masks have 60 powerful LEDs designed for even coverage and optimal energy delivery, without adding unnecessary bulk.
What is the difference between red, blue, and infrared light?
- Red (660nm): Helps firm, plump and soothe your skin.
- Blue (450nm): Targets breakouts and keeps skin clear.
- Infrared (850nm): Works deep in the skin and tissue to heal, calm and restore.
Can the Neck & Décolletage Mask be used on other parts of the body?
Yes! It's beautifully flexible. Use it on your tummy for period cramps, on your lower back after a long day, or even on your knees or shoulders. One device, so many possibilities.
Is LED Light Therapy good for mature or sensitive skin?
Yes. In fact, it’s ideal. LED light is non-invasive and doesn’t disrupt the skin. It supports sensitive or mature skin by boosting repair, calming irritation, and gently firming without any downtime.
How long does it take to see results from Dermalyt?
You might notice your skin looking fresher and calmer within the first couple of weeks. Longer-term changes like firmness, texture and glow tend to show up around the 4–6 week mark with consistent use.
Can I travel with my Dermalyt LED mask?
Definitely. It’s lightweight, compact and charges with a USB cable, making it easy to take with you on holiday or to the bach. Your skin doesn’t have to miss out!
Is LED Light Therapy safe during pregnancy?
We always recommend checking with your GP if you’re pregnant. While red and blue light are generally considered safe, it’s best to get the all-clear from your healthcare provider just to be safe.
